Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Manager, Contracting – Health Plan Relations to support managed care contracting, payer negotiations, and contract research for the West Region. This remote role reports to the VP of Contracting and focuses on center-level contracting priorities.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in managed care contracting, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%. This role emphasizes collaboration across departments and driving contract performance.

Qualifications

• Overnight travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support contract negotiations, contract research and payer relationships.
• Collaborate with Directors and VP to manage center-level contracting priorities.
• Prepare reports and presentations on contract rates and payer mix.
• Monitor payer issues and ensure timely contract loading and payments.
