Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a highly motivated engineer to provide 24/7 remote monitoring and control of cement and grinding plants from the HROC center in Irving, TX. You will leverage advanced control systems, real‑time data, and AI‑enabled tools to maintain stable, safe operations across the U.S. and Canada.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and strong analytical skills, with training during a 6–8 month program. Travel within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and production staff.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 remote monitoring, operation, and control of cement and grinding plants.
• Analyze process conditions, alarms, and data to ensure safe, stable operation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize plant performance and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement using advanced automation and data analytics.
• Ensure compliant, safe operations across the HROC network.
