Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Remote Operations Engineer to provide 24/7 remote monitoring, operation, and control of cement and grinding plants from the HROC center in Irving, TX. You will optimize processes, analyze data, and make decisive actions in a highly automated environment with AI-enabled tools.

You will collaborate with plant operations, process engineering, and reliability teams, ensuring safe, efficient operations while following SOPs and improving system

Formación

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering preferred in Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing.
• Training program may substitute for degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 24/7 remote monitoring, operation, and control of cement and grinding plants across the US and Canada from the HROC center in Irving, TX.
• Actively optimize processes using advanced control systems, automation, and real-time data interfaces.
• Analyze conditions, alarms and trends to ensure safe, stable operation within limits.
• Make operational decisions in a data-driven, automated environment with AI-enabled tools.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, and control system issues with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate across HROC network to optimize performance and share best practices.
• Champion SOPs and drive standardization, safety, and efficiency in remote operations.
• Contribute to automation strategies to improve stability, throughput, energy efficiency, and cost.
• Use data to identify trends and replication of improvements across plants.
