Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an operations professional to monitor and control a cement plant from the Remote Optimization Center in Dallas. You will oversee process parameters, alarms, and equipment status to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends, travel within the US and Canada, and collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.

Qualifications

• BS/Engineering in Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing preferred.
• Certifications or vocational training in process operations may substitute for a degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with maintenance and production teams.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the cement manufacturing process from the Remote Optimization Center in Dallas, TX.
• Review equipment status, parameters and alarms to ensure plant operation.
• Ensure safe, continuous plant operations, maintaining product quality and compliance.
• Identify and troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of process parameters and readings to support data analysis.
