Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Operations Professional to monitor and control cement and grinding plants from the HROC center in Irving, TX. You will analyze data, respond to alarms, and execute corrective actions within safety and SOP guidelines.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, SOP development, and continuous improvement in a highly automated, data-driven environment. Training is provided, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required or substitute with technical certifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 remote monitoring, operation, and control of plant processes.
• Analyze process data and alarms to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Collaborate across operations, engineering, reliability, and IT teams to optimize performance.
• Develop and follow SOPs, escalation protocols, and playbooks.
• Drive continuous optimization and data-driven improvements in a highly automated plant network.
