Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a control-room professional to monitor and control our cement manufacturing process from the Remote Optimization Center. You’ll review equipment status, parameters, and alarms to keep the plant within SOPs while ensuring safety and product quality.

This role requires 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends, travel within the U.S. and Canada, and a BS/Engineering degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to safely operate a cement plant in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the cement manufacturing process from the Remote Optimization Center in Dallas, TX.
• Review equipment status, process parameters, and alarms to ensure plant operates within SOPs.
• Ensure safe, continuous plant operations and maintain product quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and losses.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters and equipment readings for trend analysis and improvements.
