Job summary

DWC, a retirement services firm, is seeking a Plan Document Specialist to create and update retirement plan documents and lead design calls with plan sponsors and advisors. You will work with internal teams to ensure plans stay compliant and properly set up, including restatements, resolutions, and amendments.

You will collaborate with sponsors and advisors on discretionary amendments and oversee document-related projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced, team-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience drafting plan documents and participant communications.
• Ability to regularly lead client/advisor calls for consultative feedback.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent client service/communication skills.
• QKA preferred.
• FT William plan document experience preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skill.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
• Highly motivated.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, as well as manage and execute tasks.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan design and document consulting, including leading plan document design calls with sponsors/advisors.
• Document preparation, including plan restatements and board resolutions.
• Proactive follow up and coordination with all plan players regarding plan design.
• Consult with Plan Sponsors regarding discretionary amendments and preparation of requested amendments.
• Preparation of mandatory interim amendments/restatements.
• Preparation of plan mergers and protected benefits analysis.
