Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Plan Documents Specialist for a 100% remote role focused on retirement plan documents. You will prepare, review, and maintain documents and amendments for qualified plans, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with retirement plan documents at a TPA, strong IRS/ERISA knowledge, and excellent attention to detail. Remote work, full benefits, and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience with retirement plan documents at a TPA.
Knowledge of qualified retirement plans (401(k), profit sharing, cash balance).
Experience drafting plan documents, amendments, and restatements.
Working knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations affecting retirement plans.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain qualified retirement plan documents and amendments.
Draft plan restatements, discretionary amendments, and required regulatory updates.
Ensure plan documents remain compliant with IRS, ERISA, and Department of Labor regulations.
Research legislative changes and implement required document updates.
Work closely with plan administrators, compliance teams, and clients to resolve document-related questions.
Review plan provisions for accuracy and consistency.
Assist with plan corrections and document remediation projects as needed.
Maintain organized records and documentation for all plan document changes.
