DWC - The 401(k) Experts in Minnesota is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist to be the primary contact for client plan needs, delivering excellent service and maintaining strong client relationships. You will manage communications, resolve issues through collaboration with internal teams, and lead plan document discussions.

The role involves coordinating client meetings (in person and virtual), preparing updates and analytics, and driving client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of client relationship management experience, preferably in retirement industry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• QPA/QKA preferred but not required
• Knowledge of 401k, 403b, and/or 457 plans
• Experience coordinating and running client meetings in person and virtually
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and advisors
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proactive problem solving and ownership of relationships
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for all client requests.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and advisors.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and self-development activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support client needs during high volume periods.
• Prepare materials, take notes, and follow up on action items during client calls.
• Provide periodic client updates and basic analytics.
• Assist in coordinating plan document calls by scheduling meetings and gathering documentation.
