Job summary

Alerus, a commercial wealth bank and national retirement provider, is seeking a Plan Document Manager to lead a small team of plan document experts and oversee projects like restatements, coaching and development.

You will act as SME on retirement plan documents, partner with Compliance to maintain service standards, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of plan document experts and manage related projects.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Ensure consistent service standards with Compliance and internal partners.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive timely deliverables.
• Oversee audits, procedures, and process adherence.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing training of new staff.
