Job summary

DWC - The 401(k) Experts in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Plan Document Specialist to create and update retirement plan documents, including restatements, resolutions, and amendments. You will lead plan design calls with plan sponsors and advisors to ensure accurate setup and ongoing compliance.

You will collaborate with sponsors and internal teams, manage document-related projects, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience drafting plan documents and participant communications.
• Ability to regularly lead client/advisor calls to provide consultative feedback related to the establishment, design, and ongoing administration.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent client service/communication skills.
• QKA preferred.
• FT William plan document experience preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan design and document consulting, including being the lead on consultative plan document design calls with plan sponsors and advisors as part of the implementation/installation process on an ongoing basis.
• Document preparation, including plan restatements and board resolutions.
• Proactive follow up and coordination with all plan players regarding plan design and provisions.
• Consult with Plan Sponsors regarding discretionary amendments and preparation of requested amendments.
• Preparation of mandatory interim amendments/restatements.
• Preparation of plan mergers and protected benefits analysis.
