Insurance Claim HQ seeks a Missouri-licensed attorney to join our Plaintiff Property Litigation team. The attorney will manage a caseload from inception through resolution, communicating strategy and case developments directly with clients.

The role requires at least one year of civil litigation experience, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced plaintiff environment. A Kansas license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri law license in good standing.
• At least one year of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
• Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment.
• Experience in property insurance litigation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and settlement opportunities.
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your cases.
• Litigate matters in Illinois state and federal courts.
