Jobot is seeking a driven Plaintiff Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join a premier North Carolina Triangle law firm based in Durham. The role centers on pre-litigation advocacy, demand drafting, settlement negotiation, and high-touch client communication.

Remotely flexible or hybrid options are available for candidates in or near North Carolina. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $115,000 per year, plus a 25% origination bonus and discretionary year-end bonuses, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active NC Bar license.
• 2–5 years of plaintiff-side PI pre-litigation experience (up to 10 years considered).
• Demonstrated stability in past employment; long-term tenure preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Litigation Management: manage the full lifecycle of plaintiff personal injury files (95% PI, light WC exposure).
• Negotiation & Advocacy: evaluate case merit, calculate damages, review medical records, draft demand letters, negotiate with insurance adjusters.
• Client Relations: maintain compassionate, transparent communication with clients throughout their recovery.
• Team Collaboration: work with 7 experienced paralegals and staff to ensure efficient file movement.
• Litigation Support: provide occasional assistance on litigation matters (depositions, motions, trial prep).
