Job summary

Whitley Law Firm in Raleigh, NC seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of dedicated experience in plaintiff-side personal injury. You will oversee a staff of case managers, paralegals, and negotiators to build strong cases in auto accidents, dog bites, and premises liability.

This in-office role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a remote day after 90 days, emphasizing client service and leadership within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active NC State Bar membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of negotiations and settlement experience.
• 3 years of leadership/mentoring staff in a legal setting.
• 3 years of pre-litigation or personal injury experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-volume case management from intake to resolution with legal staff.
• Lead and coach a team of case managers, paralegals, and negotiators.
• Maintain strong client and community relations with clear updates and strategy discussions.
• Stay current on laws and regulations to ensure compliant practice.
