Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking a Physician Account Executive to grow oncology patient starts and radiology scan volume by analyzing referral patterns and expanding top referrer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of physician sales in healthcare (or 10 years with an Associate's degree), exceptional communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel 75–90%. Remote work is supported with travel to partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or required experience.
• 5+ years of physician sales and marketing experience in a healthcare environment if Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of health care sales experience if Associate's degree.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop territory plans and drive referrals.

Responsibilities

• Establish territory plans with Marketing and Operations to meet growth volumes and revenue commitments.
• Analyze referral patterns to drive physician referrals and plan field time accordingly.
• Cultivate relationships with top referrers to maintain/increase volume and starts.
• Identify and engage new referral channels based on market trends.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires and field teams.
