AnewHealth, a nationwide leader in pharmacy care management, is seeking Pharmacy Technicians for its remote Patient Care Center of Excellence. In a fast-paced, phone-based role, you will process prescriptions, obtain authorizations, and support patient onboarding while collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; PTCB or NHA certification preferred.
• Must maintain a state pharmacy technician registration.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and phone-based patient service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional phone-based customer service to patients, doctors and facilities.
• Enter prescription information accurately and quickly.
• Receive authorizations, clarifications, or transfers from doctors and pharmacies.
• Perform claim adjudication and audits such as prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Make outbound calls to patients as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals for patient care.
