Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. The role is remote, with responsibilities spanning phone-based patient interactions, data entry, and coordination with clinicians to support medication-related care.

You will assist with authorizations, transfers, and billing while upholding strict confidentiality and accuracy. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are certified (PTCB/NHA), and maintain state pharmacy registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required and current.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be 18+ years of age and have prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Ability to perform in an office-based or remote setting at a desk most of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience daily in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of data; process prescription information with speed and accuracy.
• Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications or transfers with sound drug knowledge.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties such as prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Work through current case queues to problem solve patient care issues.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals.
• Assist with onboarding new patients to ExactCare and maintain confidentiality.
