Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence in a remote/office-based role. You will handle phone-based patient interactions, data entry, and coordination with clinicians and pharmacies to ensure timely, accurate medication support.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, state registration, and PTCB/NHA certification, with experience in a pharmacy setting and strong confidentiality and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; PTCB or NHA certification preferred.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred and office/remote work readiness is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of data accurately and efficiently.
• Receive medication authorizations, clarifications or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties including prior authorizations and eligibility checks.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Assist with onboarding of new patients and ongoing patient care communication.
