Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Pre-employment screening and drug testing required; ability to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides first call resolution for state eligibility programs via telephone (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP).
• Enter client data into system.
• Assist clients with understanding their rights and responsibilities related to appeals.
• Verify eligibility and summarize case activity.
• Work daily from assigned queues and incoming documents.
• Support pharmacy operations as a program resource in a patient and healthcare provider facing role.
• Retrieve prescriptions from various sources for review and completeness of information.
• Handles prescription prior authorization requests.
• Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and escalate as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints using scripts; gather information to resolve situations.
• Communicate options for resolutions and investigate/resolve complaints.
• Refer non-routine inquiries to senior staff and complete corrective actions.
