Job summary

CommuniCare Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the PBM Services Pharmacy Concierge team by coordinating alternative channel sourcing for patients and members.

You will verify channels for non-covered medications, prepare cost comparisons, and track outcomes in the case management system while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. This is a remote role with hours 11:00–19:00.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in care coordination.
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit structures, prior authorization processes, and third-party billing.
• Experience with EHR, Rx platforms, Excel and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, pharmacies, and internal PBM teams to coordinate sourcing.
• Identify and verify appropriate sourcing channels for non-covered or high-cost medications.
• Support cost comparisons, savings estimates, reports, and invoices for the Pharmacy Concierge team.
• Track sourcing outcomes, patient preferences, and turnaround times in the case management system.
• Maintain knowledge of trusted alternative vendors, pricing, and service offerings.
• Follow up with pharmacies and providers to ensure accurate and timely prescriptions.
