Cardinal Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support remote pharmacy operations serving retail customers and hospital networks. You will perform prescription data entry, assist with insurance claims, and ensure patient privacy.

This role requires a Florida license, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating with pharmacists and team members.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
• Strong prescription data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate with pharmacists.
• Excellent communication with patients by phone.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription claims through insurance and troubleshoot rejections.
• Support prior authorizations and coordinate with pharmacists, patients, and insurers.
• Manage multiple queues: prescription entry, adjudication, copayments, orders.
• Provide courteous patient service by phone and help with orders.
• Document copayment details and assist with invoice creation.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate data entry across pharmacy systems.
• Collaborate with team in a fully remote environment.
