Job summary

The Remote Pharmacy Technician II at Cardinal Health, Inc. focuses on phone-based member support, order processing, and prescription adjudication with no physical dispensing, packing, or on-site pharmacy work. This role supports our members across the U.S.

and requires accuracy and excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include handling calls from members and providers, processing orders, resolving insurance issues, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations while working

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License, in good standing.
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound calls daily from members, prescribers, and insurance companies
• Assist new and existing members with order placement, prescription questions, and payment inquiries
• Contact prescriber offices for clarifications, refills, and prescription needs
• Accurately type prescription information into system workflows
• Adjudicate prescriptions and resolve insurance-related issues
• Route cases to Intake or other queues when appropriate
• Work out of multiple queues and maintain productivity expectations
• Maintain high attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all data entry
• Follow all pharmacy regulations, policies, and internal procedures
