Job summary

Cardinal Health at-Home Solutions is recruiting a Remote Pharmacy Technician, Order Processing in Ohio to support medication delivery and clinical care. You will collaborate with pharmacists, providers and patients to ensure timely processing and accurate dispensing of prescriptions from a home office.

Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound calls, data entry into the pharmacy information system, assisting with filling prescriptions, and validating insurance claims, while complying

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of mail order or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registered in Ohio or Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Active state or national certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to set up orders with providers, patients and staff.
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information system.
• Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders as permitted by state boards.
• Take verbal prescription orders from licensed prescribers where allowed by law.
• Review patient insurance coverage and adjudicate claims.
