Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to serve as a liaison between patients, providers and pharmacists. The role delivers exceptional customer service via phone, handles refill requests, and ensures accurate documentation while maintaining patient privacy in a remote home office.

The position requires a state license, a CPhT certification, and at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. English and Spanish bilinguals are favored; high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; medical Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refill requests and investigate status.
• Assist/remind patients to obtain refills across pharmacies.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on patient behalf.
• Handle 40-50 calls per day inbound and 60-80 outbound.
• Coordinate with center care teams to resolve barriers to refills.
• Use EMR to send requests and updates to care teams.
• Document information in electronic systems clearly.
• Ensure privacy and security of patient information.
