Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for a remote role. You will act as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists, handling refill requests with empathy and accuracy while maintaining patient privacy.

The position requires 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience, a valid Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT certification. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; the role includes full-time hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refill requests and investigate status.
• Fulfill medication renewal requests and contact patients.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
• Handle 40–50 inbound or 60–80 outbound calls daily.
• Document clearly in electronic health records and systems.
• Coordinate with care teams to remove refill barriers.
• Support privacy and private home office requirements.
