Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Tech I for a fully remote, HIPAA-compliant healthcare call center environment. The role handles member and provider calls, documents approvals/denials, and transfers complex inquiries to pharmacists. Requires accurate data entry and strong systems proficiency.

Shift is 8:00 AM–8:00 PM CT, Monday–Friday, with mandatory overtime during training and ongoing hours. Prior certification and license status are preferred where available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification or Trainee license preferred.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or certification if available.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from members, providers and others with professional phone assistance.
• Document approvals and denials accurately and promptly.
• Transfer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, secure documentation and data entry across multiple systems.
