Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support pharmacy staff and liaisons, ensuring accurate and timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. You will handle outbound calls to patients and assist them through the refill process, while coordinating refills with precise data entry.

Qualifications

• State registered pharmacy technician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience; 5–8 years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills; proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound patient refill calls and complete refill requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate medication refills with correct days supply and ensure accuracy.
• Handle inbound pharmacy communications and troubleshoot reject codes.
• Maintain data across systems and protect patient confidentiality.
