Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate, timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. This role includes assisting patients through the refill process, handling outbound and inbound calls, and helping maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

Schedule: Onsite in office, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM AZT. You’ll provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff; coordinate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff.
• Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
• Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
• Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
• Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.
