Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support clinical pharmacists and care teams in a fully remote role operating within Pacific Time business hours. You will review medication data, coordinate adherence initiatives, and help implement technology-driven workflows to improve medication safety and quality of care.
This role emphasizes collaboration with providers and pharmacies, data accuracy in EHRs, and HIPAA compliance, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic managed care
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Experience supporting medication adherence and quality initiatives.
- Familiar with STAR measures and medication adherence metrics.
- Strong computer skills with Teams, SharePoint, Excel.
- Spanish bilingual skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review adherence and pharmacy data to identify intervention opportunities.
- Coordinate care between members, pharmacies, and providers.
- Support quality improvement initiatives in medication safety and adherence.
- Document outreach and interventions in EHR and systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about medication concerns.
- Assist with implementation of new pharmacy technologies and workflows.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data accuracy.
