Job summary

MyCare Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Operations Pharmacy Technician to support primary care physicians, clinics and patients by executing programs to improve health outcomes with a focus on prescription drugs and medication therapy management.

The role drives prescription optimization, manages chronic disease medications lifecycle, and aims to maximize PDC adherence by identifying barriers, coordinating refills, and communicating with pharmacies and care teams.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently
• HEDIS knowledge and Medication Adherence Guidelines
• Insurance processing and call center processes experience
• Experience with EMR and pharmacy software

Responsibilities

• Track data on PDC gaps and perform administrative tasks
• Make outbound and inbound calls to members
• Outreach to MyCare Medical members
• Collect medication histories and identify barriers to adherence
• Ensure timely refills and synchronize medications
• Communicate with pharmacies regarding refills
• Utilize Payor Portals
• Flag clinical barriers to PCP for therapy adjustments
