Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a remote Pharmacy Technician to handle outbound calls to patients and inbound inquiries from care givers and health care professionals regarding medications, adherence, and barriers. Reports to Pharmacy Operations Manager and Intake Coordinator.

You will document patient information, navigate CPR+/ORCA and ONCO EMR, and support the pharmacy help desk, specialty follow-ups, and compliance activities as part of a fast-paced, multi-site team.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Active/unrestricted Pharmacy Technician permit in state of residence (Florida permit optional).
• Two years’ experience in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and document patient information accurately in CPR+/ORCA, ONCO EMR, and other systems.
• Support pharmacy help desk via Fresh Service and other channels.
• Follow up with patients and clinics to ensure prescription status and approvals.
• Provide premier customer service and professional communication with patients and clinics.
• Support compliance training and protect patient information per HIPAA.
