Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking a Pharmacy Adherence Technician to schedule orders for delivery or pickup and keep patient records up to date under clinical supervision. You will interact with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to support adherence.

Responsibilities include data entry in multiple systems, processing copayments, and coordinating with pharmacists to resolve issues, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ licensed pharmacy technician experience.
• State registration as Pharmacy Technician or PTCB Certification required.
• Ability to work remotely as required and adhere to HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders for delivery or pickup and document adherence updates.
• Make outbound/inbound calls to patients, caregivers, and providers.
• Document updates in CPR+, ORCA, ONCO EMR and other pharmacy systems.
• Assist pharmacists and other departments to process orders promptly.
• Communicate order status and delivery updates while adhering to HIPAA requirements.
• Handle copayments and coordinate prior authorizations and financial assistance.
