Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is expanding its intake team to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure that all pertinent patient information is recorded, including demographics, allergies, medication history, and payer data. Under supervision from the Assoc.

Manager, Patient Support Services and pharmacists, you will place calls to patients, providers, and payers, translate prescription information, and assist with prior authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state licensure required where you reside.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Hours of operation and shift flexibility.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including patient care management, copay assistance programs, and billing information.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage the assigned workflow queues and document thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and high ethical standards in all duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
