Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacist Informatics Specialist to join our Enterprise Pharmacy Applications team. You will leverage Epic Willow certification, clinical informatics expertise, and data analysis to optimize medication workflows within the electronic health record and improve patient safety.

You will consult with clinicians, leadership, and IT partners, develop informatics plans, and design EMR builds that align with regulatory requirements and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with a PharmD and state licensure; Epic Willow certification preferred.
• PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in pharmacy informatics preferred.
• Strong data analysis, workflow optimization, and informatics project planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clinical and IT teams.
• Ability to train users and translate clinical needs into EMR build changes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between clinicians and IT for pharmacoinformatics and EMR builds.
• Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and workflows to improve medication safety and efficiency.
• Design, evaluate, and implement EMR builds to support clinical practice and patient care quality.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Provide training and ongoing support for clinical staff on informatics tools and processes.
