Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a remote Pharmacy Informatics professional to support the medication electronic health record and clinical informatics initiatives. You will design and implement build improvements, analyze data, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize workflows.
You will function as the interface between clinicians and technical experts, ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing education. A PharmD and related residencies are preferred, with Epic Willow certification required
Qualifications
- Requires Epic Willow certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
- PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in pharmacy informatics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports medication EHR build and optimization to improve patient safety.
- Designs informatics plans, analyzes data, and advances evidence-based practice.
- Consults with providers and clinicians to evaluate information systems and workflows.
- Provides training and serves as liaison between clinicians and IT teams.
