Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to leverage clinical and informatics skills for the medication EHR. The role serves as a liaison between clinicians and IT, designing and evaluating EHR builds to advance medication safety and practice.
You will develop informatics plans, analyze data, and support regulatory compliance while collaborating with providers and leadership. A Bachelor of Pharmacy and residency training are preferred; remote-first with standard first-shift
Qualifications
- Epic Willow certification required or pursued within 6 months of hire.
- Pharmacy degree required with potential residency credentials.
- Experience in informatics and clinical workflow optimization preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports medication-related electronic health record workflows and safety improvements.
- Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to enhance evidence-based practice.
- Designs and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice.
- Consults with providers and leadership to align information systems with care delivery.
