Job summary

Cardinal Health in Columbus, OH is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to oversee patient access support and reimbursement teams in a fully remote, 40-hour week. You will manage up to 20 staff, coach remotely, and drive KPIs under client contracts.

You’ll develop SOPs, report on program metrics, coordinate with leadership, and handle hiring, training, and performance management while ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in related field of patient support programs preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables)
• Travel may be needed up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for patient access support contact center team of up to 20 team members
• Coach, teach, train, and mentor team members in a remote setting
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions
• Coordinate and deliver recurring reviews of program metrics / dashboards
• Assess/Test / Solution / Approve program changes including IT, platform upgrades, and business rules
• Report system issues impacting CRM or productivity
• Manage employee timecards and HR responsibilities as a people leader
• Open job requisitions, conduct interviews, and provide recommendations
• Coordinate with leadership to determine corrective action
• Monitor program adherence, quality, attendance and address accordingly
• Report Corrective and Preventive Actions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with partners to resolve complex issues
• Conduct development-based 1x1s focusing on performance and goals
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Maintain contact with client/3rd party partners
• Contribute to quarterly business reviews for clients
• Seek process efficiencies to reduce manual work
• Host regular team meetings and share updates on SLAs/KPIs
• Work well independently and in a team across departments
