Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Pharmacy Care Coordinator to provide clinical and technical support under a pharmacist's supervision. You will coordinate ongoing care, document thoroughly in the EMR, and assist with medication reviews and safety programs.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST with remote work in the Pacific Time Zone and occasional onsite meetings in CA. Prior pharmacy tech or medical assistant experience is required, with strong customer service and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years as Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant.
• 1+ years of face-to-face or telephonic customer service.
• 1+ years of experience with medical/pharmacy terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care as directed by clinicians and policies.
• Assist clinical pharmacists to resolve medication-related issues.
• Document patient information in electronic medical record.
• Support data management for month-end reports.
• Participate in pharmacy services wellness programs.
