Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Consultative Pharmacy Technician 3 to intake calls from patients, pharmacies and providers, and to support medication access programs across a nationwide remote work model.

The role requires intermediate mathematical skills, collaboration with the CIT team, and coordination with clinics and providers to resolve access barriers. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Active unrestricted State Pharmacy Technician License in your state of residence.
• PTCB Certification with Medication Therapy Management Certification.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Knowledge of the top 200 drugs.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.
• Prior Authorization experience.
• Pharmacy Benefit Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication list reviews and assist with formulary and cost-management needs.
• Support patient assistance programs and subsidies processes.
• Coordinate with clinics and providers to resolve medication access issues.
• Document outreach, outcomes and case status per workflow requirements.
