Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Care Representative to join our remote team in Illinois. You will interact with customers to answer questions, verify eligibility, and process medication orders, including new patient enrollment and benefits verification.

In a fast-paced, high-energy environment, you will educate customers about CVS/Specialty services, coordinate shipments, and escalate questions to the staff pharmacist as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience handling high-volume inquiries.
• 1+ years of experience with Windows-based applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
• 1+ years of keyboarding experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of IL.
• Must have a secure, wired home workspace with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding prescriptions and orders.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for medication orders.
• Process new and refill medication orders for patients.
• Educate customers about CVS/Specialty services and programs.
• Transfer/escalate clinical questions to the staff pharmacist when needed.
