Job summary

SmithRx is seeking an Account Executive to manage strategic PBM client relationships for employers, health plans, or TPAs. You will act as a healthcare consultant, drive renewals, optimize pharmacy spend, and improve member outcomes while delivering executive-ready updates.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, present formulary changes, analyze claims data, and guide clients through PBM programs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Account Executive experience in PBM or health insurance.
• 5+ years of direct account management or relationships management in healthcare.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets (claims, rebates, ROI) and tell actionable stories for executives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships for large complex accounts.
• Own and facilitate end-to-end renewal process.
• Accountable for client satisfaction.
• Lead internal teams and act as internal client advocate.
• Provide executive updates on client status and risks.
• Travel required: Up to 25%.
