Job summary

Shields Health Solutions invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician in the Pharmacotherapy Support team. This remote role supports Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center with patient outreach, care coordination, and clinic workflow in a non-dispensing environment.

Responsibilities include patient check-ins, appointment coordination, data entry, and documentation across systems, leveraging Epic and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred (1+ year).
• State registration as a pharmacy technician; national certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient check-ins to monitor therapy experience and adherence.
• Coordinate patient appointments, follow-up visits, and monitoring schedules.
• Assist pharmacists by gathering patient information and preparing charts or notes.
• Track labs and monitoring parameters, ensuring completion and communicating with the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation across required systems and ensure confidentiality.
