Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist to support patients with their medication needs. You will handle inbound calls, assist with refills, and coordinate with pharmacists and clinicians to ensure accurate and timely care.

The role requires active Oregon or Washington pharmacy technician license and national certification. The position is remote, with a Monday–Friday 8:30AM–5:00PM PST schedule and a starting hourly rate of $22, plus quarterly bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician license (Washington or Oregon)
• National certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound pharmacy calls and provide patient support
• Process medication refills, including data entry and claims adjudication
• Place outbound refill calls and guide patients through refill requests
• Respond to inquiries from patients and providers
• Maintain patient data in software systems
• Collaborate with pharmacists and clinicians to ensure timely support
• Maintain confidentiality and high-quality service standards
