Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Outreach Specialist Pharmacy Technician to support outbound calls to eligible patients, educate them about the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program, and enroll them with Shields Partner Pharmacy. This role is remote with ET timezone alignment.

You must hold national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA/ExCPT) and have at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified pharmacy technician (PTCB or NHA/ExCPT) required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree or PTCB/ExCPT license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to eligible patients to enroll them with Shields Partner Pharmacy.
• Educate patients on Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program services.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to Shields values.
• Access EMR and review chart notes prior to outbound calls.
• Identify storage/handling needs for medications and necessary supplies.
• Flexible to work shifts within ET business hours, including occasional Saturdays.
