Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is looking for a Pharmacy Technician in Fullerton, CA to support the Pharmacotherapy Clinic by assisting pharmacists with patient communication and care coordination.

This position focuses on enhancing patient access to clinical services. The role includes monitoring therapy experiences, coordinating patient appointments, and maintaining documentation for continuity of care. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required; 5-8 years preferred.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals is a plus.
• Certification as CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patient check-ins to monitor therapy.
• Assist with patient outreach and confirm therapy starts.
• Coordinate patient appointments and clinical monitoring.
• Track labs or monitoring parameters and communicate status.
• Prepare prescription-related requests for pharmacist review.
