Job summary
Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time, fully remote Pharmacist to join the Refill Authorization Pharmacy Team. This role supports primary care clinics across Intermountain, ensuring timely medication access and high-quality pharmacotherapy services.
You will collaborate with pharmacists and technicians, participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and process optimization to enhance patient outcomes while maintaining strong teamwork in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree and licensure in state of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Immunization certification if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Review medication orders for safety and efficacy; intervene as needed.
- Oversee timely preparation and delivery of medications.
- Complete regulatory and compliance training; stay compliant with laws and policies.
- Identify problems and drive solutions in equipment, staffing, and patient care.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Support leadership initiatives and align with system directives.
