Job summary

Lumicera is expanding its Pharmacist, Patient Consultation Services team. We are hiring part-time pharmacists to support two coverage models: two 10-hour shifts per week (Mondays and another weekday, typically 8:30 AM–7:00 PM CT) or five 4-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, typically 11:00 AM–3:00 PM CT).

Qualifications

• Experience counseling patients and caregivers regarding medication therapy and disease state management.
• Experience documenting patient assessments and clinical interventions.
• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic clinical consultations to support safe use of specialty medications.
• Perform patient assessments and reconciliation to identify adherence barriers and drug interactions.
• Provide education on disease state management, medication administration, and side effect mitigation.
• Answer clinical questions and support informed treatment decisions for patients and caregivers.
• Document consultations and interventions in pharmacy systems per policy.
