Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informatics specialist to support the medication EHR nationwide. You will liaison between clinicians and IT, develop data-driven informatics plans, and design new EHR builds to enhance patient safety and care quality.

The role requires Epic Willow certification, 3+ years of pharmacist experience, and the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams, across remote locations in IL, WI, NC, GA and beyond.

Qualifications

• Epic Willow certification is required.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.
• Translate clinical decisions and operational needs into system build requirements.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making.
• Proactive identification and communication of risks.
• Ability to work independently while seeking peer review and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between clinicians and informatics to support the medication EHR.
• Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and systems that advance evidence-based practice and safety.
• Design, evaluate, and implement new EHR builds to improve patient care.
• Consult with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems and communicate complex informatics issues.
• Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Create data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvement.
• Develop and implement automated clinical rules supporting patient care.
• Consult with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
