Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informatics professional to join the Pharmacy Applications team. You will leverage clinical expertise and informatics skills to support the medication EHR, acting as a liaison for clinical informatics initiatives and designing data-driven enhancements to improve safety and workflow efficiency.

The role requires Epic Willow certification or eligibility, a Bachelor's in Pharmacy, and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience.

Qualifications

• Requires strong clinical judgment with systems thinking.
• Epic Willow certification is preferred.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.

Responsibilities

• Support the medication electronic health record with clinical informatics and pharmacy expertise.
• Serve as a liaison for clinical informatics initiatives.
• Develop informatics plans, data analyses, and systems to improve medication safety and workflows.
• Design and implement new EHR builds to support practice and patient care quality.
