Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a pharmacist informaticist to support the medication EHR and informatics initiatives. You will design, evaluate, and implement EHR builds, liaise with clinicians, and advance medication safety.

Requires EPIC Willow certification, a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience or PGY1/PGY2 in pharmacy informatics. This is a fully remote, full-time position with standard first-shift hours and some on-call duties.

Qualifications

Exceptional candidates with strong clinical judgment and systems thinking.
Certification in EPIC Willow is preferred or required.
Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems or infusion pumps.

Responsibilities

Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record.
Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice and safety.
Designs and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and improve patient care quality.
Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems and bridge medication workflows with technology.
Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
Assists in data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvement.
Develops automated clinical rules supporting patient care.
Consults with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
